The ExMiller component is a file-and-folder navigation control that utilizes Miller columns for visualizing system directories and files.
Miller columns, also called Cascading Lists, are a hierarchical browsing technique that allows multiple levels to be expanded simultaneously,
giving a clear visual indication of the current location. This approach is rooted in concepts from the early Smalltalk browser but was independently
developed by Mark S. Miller in 1980 at Yale University. Today, Miller columns are widely recognized as the "Columns view" in Mac OS X Finder and the "Browser" view in iTunes.
