Expression/NET(arithmetic/format expression control)
The Exontrol eXPression component is a syntax editor designed to help you define, view, edit, and evaluate expressions. Many of our UI components support formatting based on arithmetic expressions. For example, the Column.FormatColumn property determines how the column's content is displayed. If Column.FormatColumn is set to "currency(value)", the column shows values as currency, such as $1,234.00 instead of 1234. With the eXPression component, you can easily verify that your expressions are syntactically correct and evaluate their results using different test values. Additionally, the eXPression component can be used as a user editor to configure and customize your applications.
